  • The government has announced that all citizens (age 16 and over) will be vaccinated against the new coronavirus free of charge in order to reduce the risk of loss of life and health, medical burden, and socioeconomic stability.
  • A prior reservation is required for the vaccinations.
  • Reservations for the month of May have been closed.
  • An announcement will be made on the website when the availability of the next reservation period is decided.
  • Vaccination is optional. It is not forced on those who do not wish to be vaccinated.
  • Those who are ill or in poor health should consult with the doctor at their regular clinic before deciding whether or not to receive the vaccinations.

Please Note Before Receiving the Vaccination

The following persons should ask the doctor at their regular clinic whether or not they could receive the vaccination.

If needed, please come with someone who could help you with the Japanese language.

  • Person who is a regular patient at a hospital.
  • Person who is worried about getting vaccinated due to medical concerns.
  • Person who had fever or allergies such as rash within 2 days after injection in the past.
  • Person who has had seizures in the past.
  • Person who might be allergic to the ingredients contained in the vaccine.

Vaccination Tickets (Coupons) will be sent out in order.

  • Due to the limited amount of vaccine, we plan to proceed with vaccinations according to the priority order indicated by the government.
  • Vaccination tickets (coupons) will be sent to those who are eligible by post, so please wait a little longer.
  • The city has already sent Vaccination Tickets to citizens over the age of 65.( those born before April 1, 1957)

What to do when you receive your vaccination ticket (coupon) by post:

Reservations are not accepted yet at the moment.

Please check on the following website for details such as on how to make a reservation for the vaccination:

  • When the reservation period starts, you can make the reservation. Please refer to the table below.
  • For those who have not been able to make the reservation: 
    Please do not worry. ALL will be able to receive the vaccination.

Citizens of age 65 and over

(those born before April 1, 1957)

Reservations for the month of May have been closed.

An announcement will be made on City News and website when the availability of the next reservation period is decided.

Others

An announcement will be made on City News and website

when the availability is decided.

Reservations may be made by telephone or on the website.

The followings are needed when you make a reservation:

  • Vaccination ticket (10-digit ticket number)
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number

Things to keep in mind when making a reservation:

  • Two doses of the vaccine are required. The second dose will be given 19 to 21 days after the first vaccination.Reservations need to be made for both doses.
  • If you wish to cancel a reservation, please do so at least two days in advance.For the change of the schedule, you must cancel all your reservations once and make the reservations anew again.

  • Urayasu City is planning to provide vaccinations at the following facilities.
  • Please make a reservation for the location of your choice.
  • From May 8th (Saturday), vaccinations will be given every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Reservations for the month of May have been closed.
